Shokugeki no Soma Review

Ok, in today's review, I'd like to talk about Shokugeki no Soma.I'm not particularly a fan of Cooking genre but I have to say, this anime often leave me starving. In terms of animation, I'd say its average. When it comes to character designs, I have to admit this one look very good.
Most of all, the food in here looks very colorful and tasty which is one one of the main selling points of this series. From what I know, some of the recipes in the anime actually works in the real life,
For example, Gotcha Pork Roast ,Rice with Transforming Seasoning, Chiapalin Steak Don and the like. If you can cook and have time, I suggest you try cooking some of them. For me, I'd like to try Chiapalin Steak.
Aside from the food, the other things that you should look forward to in this anime are Cooking Showdowns which are called Shokugeki. Shokugeki are the cooking showdowns between two individuals which are judged be three judges. If you have watched the anime or read the manga, you might already know this, if not, I suggest you try it. I won't be explaining any further about it as it might become spoilers.
The first season of the anime which includes 24 episodes had its last episode aired on September 2015 and the second season named Shokugeki no Soma: Ni no Sara is gonna be airing on this coming July. From my experience, this kind of anime will never get a second season if its not good. You might already know this also. I can Hardly wait!
Overall, as a cooking anime, this anime never ceased to amaze me and each episode left me starving a little. It can also be a great inspiration for those who likes to cook. In terms of story line also its not lacking and actually have a great story line. It can make you look forward to every next episode.
So, for those who haven't watched this anime, I suggest you try, and for those who have -

Osomatsu!
