Ok, in this post, I would like to make a review an anime that ended March this year. Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! or for short, KonoSuba is an Adventure Comedy Harem with an RPG world theme. In case you don't know what I mean by an RPG world theme, I mean an anime with a theme like that of Sword Art Online or Log Horizon, i.e, a world with a setting like that of a RPG game. There are people with different job classes, mages, warriors, etc. They form parties and fight monsters, go on quests etc. They also gain EXP and level up just like in games(seriously). This one, KonoSuba, at first glance it may seems like any RPG themed anime. But its story line and comedy makes it unlike the other animes. One thing I can promise you for sure is, even if it doesn't have a story and action that is to your satisfaction, it does have great comedy. I was laughing my lungs out even in the first episode. The story starts like this (Spoiler Alert) our protagonist Satou Kazuma is an otaku. One day he was going back home, he saw a girl in front of him getting almost run over by a truck. So he saved the girl and died. In afterlife, he met a Goddess named Aqua. There he asked if the girl he saved was ok. The goddess explained that, in truth, that girl was in no danger. The truck driver was an acquaintance of that girl and he was going to stop truck. But Kazuma thought the girl was in danger acted rushingly. Also the reason he died was not because he was hit be the truck but because he got too scared thinking the truck's gonna hit him and got a heart attack. So when they carried his body to the hospital, all the nurses, doctors and even his parents were laughing because of the pathetic way he died. After that, the goddess told him that he will be sent to a parallel world where he have to fight and slay the Demon King and that he will be allowed to bring a certain thing with him. Because of goddess's attitude was pissing him of, he said the he wants to bring the goddess with him. That's how the story kinda started. Unlike the usual RPG themed stories which are usually pretty serious, this one is a totally lighthearted and hilarious. It is so hilarious that you'll stomach will hurt from laughing too much. But when it comes to character designs, it somehow seems to be lacking something. But it doesn't matter. In my opinion, the character design suits the lighthearted story. And its pretty colorful. So, if you're looking for a lighthearted story line with good comedy, I'd recommend this one. Its story is totally not serious. Even the scenes where they fight the big shots like one of the Demon King's Generals were not serious and very funny. So, those who want a lighthearted story together with a good laugh, this one is definitely the one for you. Give it a try. it didn't disappoint me I doubt it'll disappoint you. Also, I really hope this anime gets a second season.
